The plenary meeting "Formation of sustainable development potential of Chernobyl regions", workshop "Ecological ethics: moral standards and values" and roundtable "Sustainable development strategy" were held within XV International scientific-practical conference "Ecology of human being in post-Chernobyl period". These events were organized by the Republican library for science and technology with the participation of the International Sakharov Environmental University, Belarusian committee "Chernobyl Children", Krapiva K. IIEF of NSA of Belarus and other organizations.

The free of charge testing access to Integrum databases is open at the reading room of periodicals (R. 614) at the Republican library for science and technology. These databases constitute the fullest electronic archives of mass media of Russia and CIS countries. Integrum databases keep more than 350 million documents containing political, commercial, scientific, legal, address reference information, including full-text versions of central and regional mass media, analytical researches and reviews; Rospatent information, Goscomstat information. Every day the latest news is delivered from the major information agencies including Belarusian BelPAN and BELTA.

The new exposition "Energy saving in building" is scheduled to be held from 1 to 30 November at the Information centre of the Republican library for science and technology within the ongoing exhibition "Economy and thrift are the factor of economical development of a country!".
