Let's do our Earth cleaner
The roundtable "How to turn wastes into income: the
problems of interaction of the state, commercial and public organizations
of Belarus on gathering and wastes processing and participation of country's
population in this process" was held at the 2nd international exhibition-conference
"Wastes Management". It was organized by the Republican library
for science and technology.

Integrated wastes management - demand of time
The scientific and practical conference "Wastes management: the problems
of utilization and reuse" took place within the framework of the
9th International specialized exhibition "Water & Heat"
and the 2nd International exhibition-conference "Wastes management".
Conference organizers were exhibitional enterprise "Expoforum"
and the Republican library for science & technology.

"The problems and perspectives of library and information activity
in the innovative context: to the 30th anniversary of Republican library
for science and technology" and exposition of information resources
and products of RLST take place.
Location: Conference hall UE "House of Trade Union" (Pobediteley
av., 21)
Exposition's open from 9.00 till 14.00.
Conference participants' registration: 9.30 - 10.00.
Library employees of all systems and departments are invited to the
conference.

Dear site's users!
To the 30th anniversary of RLST we made "A Historic Photo Report".
We offer you to make a photo tour in history of our library, dates back
to 1977. You'll see how the library's appearance and reading rooms have
been changing for 3 decades. During this time it's stocks improved from
9 to 43 million books and documents. The Library is recognized a major
scientific and technical information centre in the republic.

A new manual of labour protection has been received, which it's possible
to get acquainted with in the reading room of normative and technical
documents (r. 504).

April 3-13, 2007 |
The exhibition "Healthy Lifestyle - Healthy Nation" is held
in the Republican Library for science and technology.
Specialists can get acquainted with scientific and technical literature
from the collections of the Library on Sustainable development.
On the exposition more than 90 native and foreign publications, widely
devoted to the topic of health safety, drug control, sequences of Chernobyl
catastrophe, UN documents, regulating this issues. We invite scientific
collaborators, students, ecologists, doctors, biologists and everyone,
who is not indifferent to their health, to visit the exhibition. (The
exhibition is free of charge).
We are waiting for on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. at the address:
